The new 2021 Monraker Chrono Carbon R is a full carbon hardtail cross-country mountain bike.  It has Mondraker's race-winning features such as their ground-breaking proprietary forward geometry design, "flatstays" seat stays, an extremely lightweight full carbon frame, and HHG internal cable routing.

Forward geometry helps with improved handling, overall control, uphill precision, and stability in tough and technical terrains. Flatstays seat stays help cancel out riding vibrations to improve rider comfort.

The compact and lighter stealth carbon frame and HHG internal cable routing help with resistance and mobility for better speed and performance. Mondraker’s proprietary Stealth carbon construction uses specific positioning and direction of carbon fibers to optimize benefits such as strength, structural rigidity, trail buzz absorption, and lightness, in addition to consistency, reliability, and visual appeal.  Speaking of visual appeal, the carbon frame is adorned with a Racing Silver and Flame Red color design that is pretty damn bad-ass.

Based in Spain, Mondraker was founded by Miguel Pina in 2001. The first production bikes were rolled out for the 2002 model year.  They focus on high-end mountain bikes at a price point that is phenomenal for the quality, components, and design.  Their proprietary forward geometry was a game changer for the industry and it started the long reach/front center trend that is now copied by most other MTB brands. The company made headlines and garnered world recognition when Mondraker atheletes swept the podium 1-2-3 in the 2016 World DH Championship on Mondraker bikes.
