This is the much anticipated New version of the Dolphin..
The New Dolphin is a fun-to-ride, fully adjustable, folding eBike, great for jaunts around town or daily commutes to work or school. The New version has a motor that has been upgraded to 500W so that you can climb hills and traverse crossroads smoothly and efficiently. Top speed is approximately 20 mph. When you want to pedal (and who doesn't want to pedal?) you will get more range in pedal assist mode, depending on how much you want to contribute.
This Single-Battery Dolphin has a range of about 25 to 60 miles on a single charge using primarily electric power. (For a Dual-Battery Dolphin, the range is about 40 to 80 miles on a single charge using primarily electric power.) If you use Pedal Assist Mode, mileage increases compared to using primarily electric power.
The New Dolphin weighs in at just about 51 pounds (Single-Battery Version) and it easily folds down to a compact size for easy storage and transportation. The unique frame design as well as the fully adjustable handlebars and seat makes the ride experience feel like a regular full size, non-foldable bike and accommodates riders from about 5'1" to 6'3". The top tube has a low height, so like step-through bikes, it accommodates for mobility issues. The New Dolphin has been upgraded to have a more powerful motor, Hydraulic Brakes, has a 1x7 speed Shimano Tourney Derailleur, a brighter headlight, and a new comfort saddle.
