Brandy is the owner-operator of Moab Bag Co. Founded in 2013 with the goal of creating practical goods from an underutilized local resource, all her products are handmade in Moab, Utah from recycled bike tubes.

Brandy is a bike nerd, hiker, vegetable grower, aspiring master bag-maker, semi-retired activist chef, a devotee of pastry and piecrust, dog entertainer, and occasional costume maker. Soon after moving to Moab, UT, she bought a sewing machine at a yard sale, hoping that the creative itch she had been unable to scratch for years due to a nomadic lifestyle would be soothed. After a few simple projects, she realized she needed something more challenging. So a friend suggested bags. Bike tubes came into the conversation and before she knew it, she was creating and selling her wares around town and online.

When not making things or making plans to make things, she explores the desert on foot, hangs out in her garden, cooks and bakes delicious food, experiments with fermentation, road bikes in and around Moab, spends time with cherished friends, entertains her dog, learns about things that fascinate her and tries to save the world!
