The Velotric Breeze 1 is a lightweight, comfort-oriented step-through e-bike designed for recreation, commuting, errands, paved paths, and everyday transportation. At approximately 48 pounds, it is easier to maneuver and transport than many full-size comfort e-bikes, while still providing a powerful 750W rear hub motor, selectable torque- or cadence-sensing pedal assist, hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lighting, and a removable battery. Its upright riding position and accessible frame make it especially approachable for riders who want substantial electric assistance without moving to a heavier fat-tire or utility bike.
Best For
- Comfortable recreation on neighborhood roads, paved paths, and rail trails
- Commuting, errands, and replacing shorter vehicle trips
- Riders who want a lighter and easier-to-handle full-size e-bike
- Customers who prefer an upright riding position and step-through frame
- Riders who want to choose between natural-feeling torque assistance and easier cadence-based cruising
- Customers who want strong motor assistance without the size and weight of a fat-tire e-bike
Why We Like It at Kickstand Culture
The Breeze 1 combines two qualities that do not always appear together: relatively low weight and strong motor assistance. At approximately 48 pounds, it is notably easier to move, park, lift, and transport than many full-size comfort e-bikes, yet its 750W motor still provides meaningful help for hills, headwinds, acceleration, and longer rides.
SensorSwap adds useful flexibility. Torque-sensor mode responds to how firmly the rider pedals and creates a smoother, more bicycle-like experience. Cadence-sensor mode provides assistance primarily when pedal rotation is detected and can make relaxed cruising easier for riders who prefer lower physical effort.
The rigid aluminum fork helps keep the bicycle light, responsive, and mechanically simple. Combined with the upright cockpit, adjustable stem, ergonomic grips, step-through frame, 2.2-inch tires, hydraulic brakes, and broad sizing range, the Breeze 1 is an approachable everyday e-bike for a wide variety of riders.
Why Choose the Breeze 1?
Choose the Breeze 1 if you want a comfortable, upright step-through e-bike with strong motor assistance but do not want the weight and bulk of a larger fat-tire model. It offers more power and a more relaxed riding position than many lightweight urban e-bikes while remaining considerably easier to handle than many full-size comfort and all-terrain models.
The lighter Velotric Tempo may be the better choice if minimum weight, traditional-bicycle handling, fitness-oriented riding, and easy transport are your highest priorities. The Velotric Discover 3 may be preferable if you want a larger battery, an air suspension fork, suspension seatpost, included utility equipment, and more extensive comfort and connected features. The Breeze 1 occupies the middle ground: lighter and simpler than the Discover 3, but more upright and substantially more powerful than the Tempo.

SensorSwap note: Torque-sensor mode responds to rider effort and generally creates a more natural, bicycle-like ride. Cadence-sensor mode provides assistance once pedal rotation is detected and may be preferable for relaxed riding with less physical effort.
Rigid-fork note: The Breeze 1 does not have front suspension. Its rigid fork helps reduce weight, maintenance, and steering flex, but riders who frequently encounter broken pavement or rough paths may prefer the suspension-equipped Discover 3.
Rack-and-fender note: Rack and fender inclusion may depend on a current promotion. The product title, description, and store offer should be updated if the promotion changes. Unless specifically stated as included at the time of purchase, these components should be treated as optional accessories.
Class-setting note: E-bike classifications, throttle use, and permitted speeds vary by roadway, path, park, and jurisdiction. Configure and operate the bicycle appropriately for where it will be ridden. Class 3 operation and throttle use may be restricted on multi-use paths and recreational trails.
Range note: Actual range varies with assistance mode, throttle use, rider and cargo weight, terrain, wind, temperature, tire pressure, riding speed, and stop frequency. The published maximum ranges reflect favorable test conditions and should not be expected on every ride.
Transport note: Although lighter than many full-size e-bikes, the Breeze 1 still requires a bicycle rack rated for its weight, wheelbase, tire size, and step-through frame. Removing the battery can reduce lifting weight but does not make an inadequately rated rack safe.
Assembly & Service
Every e-bike purchased from Kickstand Culture is professionally assembled, tuned, and test-checked by our service department before delivery. For the Breeze 1, this includes inspecting the motor and electrical system, adjusting the Shimano drivetrain and Tektro hydraulic brakes, checking wheel alignment and tire pressure, setting the cockpit for the rider, securing the battery and critical fasteners, and testing SensorSwap, the throttle, lighting, turn signals, display, and USB-C port. Any rack or fenders included with the purchase are also installed and checked.
Your purchase includes a free 30-day check-up and adjustment to address normal break-in changes. We can also assist with rider fit, SensorSwap operation, class settings, rack and fender installation, cargo accessories, security options, vehicle-rack compatibility, and configuring the bicycle for the way you plan to use it.
