In this beginner-friendly class, the team at Kickstand Culture Bike Shop will introduce the basic knowledge and routine maintenance practices that can help keep your bicycle working properly.
No previous bicycle repair experience is needed. We’ll explain the fundamentals clearly, demonstrate common maintenance procedures, and help you become more familiar with the parts and operation of your bicycle.

- Time: 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM
- Location: Kickstand Culture Bike Shop, 654 Main St, East Aurora
- Class length: Approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes
- Class size: Limited to 15 participants
- Cost: $20 per person, including tax
- Refreshments: Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
- Included: In addition to taking 10% off in-store accessory purchases, each attendee will receive a selection of free useful bicycle maintenance items to take home (subject to availability) such as: Bike Lube 2 Oz tube, Water bottle, Park Tool drivetrain cleaning brush, and Muc-Off Punk Powder bicycle cleaner.

What to Bring
Participants are encouraged to bring their bicycle so they can relate the information presented in the class to their own equipment. If bringing your bicycle is not practical, you may still attend and benefit from the instruction and demonstrations.
You may also want to bring:
- Any basic bicycle tools or maintenance supplies you already own
- Questions about caring for or operating your bicycle
- Clothing that you do not mind getting slightly dirty
Bicycle maintenance tools, cleaning products, lubricants, pumps, and other supplies will be available for purchase separately.
Types of Bikes Covered
The basic maintenance principles discussed in this class apply to many road, hybrid, comfort, mountain, folding, and electric bicycles.
Please Note
This is an introductory maintenance class rather than a comprehensive bicycle-repair course. Advanced repairs, component installation, electronic diagnosis, and specialized e-bike service are not the primary focus of this class.

Advance registration is required because class size is limited. Each registration reserves one space for one participant.

- If you plan to bring your bicycle, please make sure it is reasonably clean and ready to be used during the class.
