BELT DRIVE
This is the only electric belt drive beach cruiser on the market! No rust in coastal conditions and no grease or regular tune-ups required. The Gates Carbon Drive belt—featured on all our bicycles—lasts 2-3x longer than a traditional chain, runs smoother, is stronger, more reliable, and whisper quiet.
ELECTRIFIED
The e-Coast features a removable battery housed within the integrated rear rack, paired with a 500-watt rear hub motor that offers a 60-mile range (varies based on rider weight, pedal assist level, and conditions). With a top speed of 28 mph, engage the throttle or choose from 5 different pedal assist modes.

Staying true to the iconic beach cruiser look, The e-Coast features a reinforced frame design to accommodate the motor, battery, 3.0 inch wide tires, and higher speeds. Robust tubing, thicker handlebar, 12 gauge spokes, sealed bearings, and a rust-resistant aluminum frame and fork yield a cruiser that's built for the beach and beyond!
MAX COMFORT
Cruising in comfort is a must! Plush 3-inch wide tires absorb bumps and smooth out boardwalks, bike paths, and sandy terrain. The integrated rear rack holds everything you'll need for the perfect beach day. The upright frame geometry and adjustable stem maximize comfort and confidence. Plus, it comes stock with fenders and built-in lights.

After countless requests from YOU for a motorized version of our award-winning Coast beach cruiser, we made it happen cap'n! Featuring a rust/grease-free Gates Carbon Drive belt and rust-resistant aluminum frame and fork, The e-Coast combines a simple single-speed drivetrain with a powerful 500-watt hub motor and hydraulic disc brakes for confident stopping power.
The e-Coast has a variable pedal assist cadence sensor AND twist throttle, offering flexibility around how you engage the motor. With 3-inch wide tires it smooths out the road and easily rolls over boardwalk bumps, sandy terrain, gravel paths, and more. We modified our iconic Coast frame design to accommodate the motor, battery, and beefed up 3 inch wide tires, and stiffened it for higher speed use. The rear rack-mounted battery is not only functional but also keeps the lines of the bike super clean. Plus, it features built-in front and rear lights and it's all backed by our industry-leading customer support!
NO RUST, NO GREASE
With a Gates Carbon Drive belt instead of a standard chain, there's no rust, no grease, and no routine maintenance to deal with. Strong enough for automotive application but specifically designed for the rigors of everyday cycling. Unchain your ride and free yourself from dirty hands, skipping chains, and greasy pant legs.
DUAL-CONTROL HUB MOTOR
The e-Coast is outfitted with a dual-control Priority 500-watt rear hub motor. The variable pedal assist cadence sensor AND twist throttle offers flexibility around how you engage the motor. It ships as a Class 2, 20 mph setting, but can increase to a Class 3, 28 mph setting (please note local laws). Five different pedal assist modes are available. eBike system UL 2849 certified by Underwriters Laboratories.
SLEEK BATTERY INTEGRATION
The Priority 500-watt motor is powered by a 576 watt-hour battery that's integrated into the rear rack, keeping the lines of The e-Coast super clean. The battery is easily removable and can be charged on or off the bike. The integrated rack is perfect for loading up all your essentials for a day at the beach, or wherever you plan to set sail. eBike battery UL 2271 certified by SGS. No one wants to ride with wrist or back pain! The e-Coast's frame geometry and adjustable stem keep you upright so you can cruise with comfort and confidence. Available in diamond (step-over) and step-through frame styles, The e-Coast is ready for all riders and rides—even at night with integrated front and rear lights.
CONFIDENT STOPPING POWER
Hydraulic disc brakes are super reliable, work in all weather conditions, can handle varied terrain with ease, and require very little maintenance. Paired with plush 3-inch wide tires that easily roll over bumps, sand, and gravel, it's always smooth sailing with The e-Coast.
RUST-RESISTANT FRAME
We modified our standard Coast frame significantly to accommodate the motor, battery, and 3 inch wide tires, and stiffened it for higher speed use. Not only is the frame strong, but it can withstand the salt, sand, and water that eat away at other beach cruisers. No rusty rides here!
SAFETY FIRST
Safety is our priority! The built-in lights feature a brake sensing function and the hydraulic disc brakes feature a motor cut-off function. So, when you grab the brakes, it signals the motor to shut off and the rear light gets brighter like it would on a car when you hit the brakes. Sailing at night? You'll be alright!
