Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer

Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer promotes maximum performance of Park Tool's TLR-1, TLR-2 threadlockers and RC-1 compound.  Prepares surface and accelerates curing.

Park Tool recommends that AP-1 Adhesive Primer be used on all fasteners and carbon fiber surfaces prior to using TLR-1 and TLR-2 threadlockers or RC-1 compound. Failure to do so could result in permanently bonded components.

The co-owners were hands-on bicycle repair folk back in the 1950s when bikes were simpler.  Starting in the 1960s, bikes started getting more complex and the need for purpose-specific bike tools arose and Howard and Art met that need.  Now more than 50 years into its journey, Park Tool is still developing and producing some of the finest bicycle tools in existence.
