These pedals have 1/2-inch spindle threads. Most modern adult bicycles use the larger and more common 9/16-inch pedal thread, so these pedals will not fit most adult bike cranks.

The 1/2-inch size is generally used with one-piece cranks found on some BMX, juvenile, cruiser, and older bicycles. If you are unsure which size your bicycle requires, bring it to Kickstand Culture and we will confirm compatibility before installation.

Installation and Service

Bicycle pedals have side-specific threads and must be installed on the correct crank arms. The right pedal uses a conventional right-hand thread, while the left pedal uses a reverse thread. Incorrect installation can damage the crank arm.
